My prayer this morning:
You are not alone. Be not afraid. You have the Father, Son and Holy Spirit on your side. You don’t realize how much you fight them by trying to do everything alone.
Stop trying to control your life. The tension this produces in your mind, body and spirit, is the problem. It creates a wall that blocks the powerful love the Trinity is trying to offer you. A supernatural love that is the only source of the peace and contentment you want.
Open to the love of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Their love can do no harm. You will see how comforting it is. Let this love flow through you and you will do no harm to others. You will be living the commandment to love your neighbor as yourself. It all starts with receiving their love for yourself first.
Stop trying to fix what you think is broken or correct what you believe is unjust. Stop fooling yourself. You cannot do anything worthwhile or make intelligent judgments on your own.
Open to the wisdom and the love of Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Let them work through you. You can trust them. They are available and present in this very moment and all moments.
Recognize your fear and the tension it brings for what it is: your enemy, not your friend. Give all your anxiety, worry and dread to the Holy Trinity. Let them transform it into the strength and courage necessary to move forward productively.
Humble yourself. Turn toward the Father, Son and the Holy Spirit.
Seek the company of your true friends. Be not afraid.
